What is HVAC Hires?

HVAC Hires is a job board for two trades that often share a truck: HVAC and plumbing.

Every job, pay guide and licensing page on the site is about HVAC and plumbing work and nothing else.

It covers 29 role categories, from HVAC service techs, installers, apprentices and helpers to journeyman and master plumbers, the pipe trades, and the dispatchers, estimators and managers who keep a shop running.

Read more on the About page.

For job seekers it is free: browsing and applying cost nothing, and no account is required.

Employers pay to post; there is no free posting tier.

What does it cost to post a job on HVAC Hires?

Prices are published on the pricing page.

These are introductory launch prices, for a limited time.

  • Standard: $199 per listing (regular price $299). A 30-day listing, indexed in Google Jobs and shown on the matching role and city pages.
  • Featured: $399 per listing (regular price $499). Everything in Standard, plus the company logo, a highlighted listing card, top-of-feed placement and a Featured badge.

A single listing is a one-time payment.

There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal and no contract.

How does posting a job work?

Posting takes a few minutes: choose a tier, fill in the role details and your application link, and pay through Stripe's checkout.

The listing goes live as soon as payment completes, with no review queue.

Candidates who click Apply go straight to the employer's own application link.

Each listing runs for 30 days; if the role fills sooner, support takes it down, and support also makes edits to a live listing.

Post one listing per role.

A job that covers both trades goes under the trade that does most of the work, or as two listings.

Post a job.

What are the subscription plans?

Contractors who are always hiring can subscribe instead of paying per post.

A slot is one live listing, and a filled role's slot can be switched to a new opening at no extra cost.

  • Growth: $899 a month for 10 concurrent live listings, with the company logo on every listing.
  • Brand: $1,749 a month for 25 concurrent live listings, Featured placement on every listing and priority support.

Subscriptions are set up by contacting HVAC Hires rather than through self-serve checkout.

They are billed monthly and can be canceled anytime, with no contract or minimum term.

Founding Partner rates are locked for 24 months and limited to the first 10 subscribing brands.

Where do the job listings come from?

From two places: open jobs aggregated from employer career pages and public job feeds, refreshed continuously, and jobs that employers post directly and pay for.

Aggregated listings link back to the original source, so a candidate applies directly with the employer.

Featured listings are paid placements: they sit at the top of the feed and carry a Featured badge.

Who runs HVAC Hires?

HVAC Hires is run by its founder, Gabriel Meierotto.

He is not an HVAC technician or a plumber, and he holds no EPA 608 card and no HVAC, mechanical, plumbing or gas license.

His work is the business and hiring side of the trade.

When the site's guides cover licensing, the claims are checked against primary sources such as state licensing boards, and pay figures come mainly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

What does HVAC Hires not do?

  • It is not a staffing or recruiting agency. It does not screen, interview or vouch for candidates, and it does not guarantee that a listing will result in a hire.
  • It does not offer a free posting tier for employers.
  • It does not give legal, code or safety advice. Licensing and permit questions go to the state board or a qualified professional.
  • It does not label content as expert reviewed unless a named, licensed tradesperson has actually reviewed it.
  • It does not publish candidate or reach numbers.
