Account Executive | Commercial HVAC Service Sales

Comfort Systems USA Ohio is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our Cincinnati Service team and help grow our commercial and industrial customer base throughout the Greater Cincinnati market.

This role is built for a sales professional who understands the value of long-term customer partnerships and knows how to turn facility challenges into practical service solutions. You will work directly with building owners, facility managers, property managers, and operations leaders to identify opportunities involving preventive maintenance agreements, repairs, retrofits, equipment replacements, and ongoing HVAC service programs.

• Develop new commercial and industrial customer relationships throughout the Greater Cincinnati market
• Build and grow a pipeline of qualified HVAC service opportunities
• Manage and expand relationships within existing customer accounts
• Sell preventive maintenance agreements, repair services, equipment replacements, retrofits, and service projects
• Visit customer facilities to understand HVAC systems, operational priorities, recurring issues, and long-term needs
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, performance, and lifecycle
• Develop and present clear, practical proposals and service recommendations
• Manage opportunities from initial conversation and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Maintain strong customer relationships after the sale and identify opportunities for continued account growth
• Support service agreement renewals and long-term customer retention
• Work closely with service, operations, estimating, and technical teams to develop solutions and ensure successful execution
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, account, and activity information within CRM systems

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already understands the commercial HVAC service sales environment and can step into the role with credibility in front of customers.

Required

• 5+ years of successful experience in commercial HVAC service sales, mechanical services, building services, facility services, or a closely related B2B technical sales environment
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, preventive maintenance programs, repair services, and equipment replacement solutions
• Demonstrated success developing new business and growing long-term customer relationships
• Experience identifying customer needs, developing solutions, preparing proposals, presenting recommendations, negotiating agreements, and closing business
• Strong consultative selling and business development skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities, proposals, renewals, and follow-up activities at the same time
• Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts, account plans, and territory activity
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Proficiency with CRM or comparable sales tracking systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Greater Cincinnati territory

Preferred

• Established relationships within the Greater Cincinnati commercial and industrial market
• Experience selling HVAC retrofits, equipment replacements, or facility improvement projects
• Familiarity with mechanical construction, design-build, controls, or broader building systems solutions

Compensation & Benefits

• $85,000–$115,000 annual base salary, based on experience
